Shot on an iPhone SE, this was my first film after a 10-year hiatus from filmmaking. In the end, I just couldn’t look at this cairn any longer without documenting it.

I drove by this cairn for several months before deciding to document it. At first, I believed that the film would be about the people behind the stack. However, a different story emerged during filming. It became an examination of adversity and whether or not Stoicism or being like a rock is the best course in the face of a challenge.
